Its my cousin's baby's one month birthday!

Its the chinese culture to hand out red dyed eggs to relatives and freinds to mark the one month birthday of a newborn :B I didn't take any pictures of the baby though :/

I read it from somewhere that in central China, red eggs will be sent to the grandma's side on the birth of a child. If the eggs have dot at one end, it means the gender of the baby is a boy. Also, the red eggs must be in even number(6 or 8), wishing the boy will get a wife when he grows up.
On the other hand, if there are no dots on the red eggs and they are of odd number(5 or 7), it means the gender of the baby is a girl, wishing the baby will be married off in the future!:)

On a side note, my sister bought this weirdly cute rubber chicken which produces funny noises when you press it in the stomach .___. (what was she thinking?!)

Sakura+Blood Pledge.

So we went for Sakura buffet in yio chu kang and the outlet there is uber cute, like it just mushroomed out of nowhere.

anyway we went there supposedly to celebrate marvin's birthday T think, thereafter we went to watch the blood pledge. talk about the classic dinner after movie! only that its the opposite way round hahaha anyway I must say I've enjoyed myself though

Uncanny Coincidence

So yesterday I was telling kw that I dreamt of myself being chased by a dog(?!) in the Zoo. And I fell down.Hard. The skin around my shin area started to peel like onions and the wound was raw.

His reply got me stupefied. He dreamt (in the same night) that he was in the Zoo too, and he got chased by tigers.

I particularly liked this fusion of yellows and blues(even though it is due to the tunnel effect in my phone, awesome function!)

This picture injects a very nostalgic feeling in me. like I left a part of me there..

Shahila's hand forming a heart shape. We were in a super awkward position while taking this picture. I was holding on to the dslr and she was actually behind me and bending over (me)so that her hands are actually in front of the dslr. And if you realised, we're trying to shift around so that we can capture the tiny weeny kite in the heart.

Happy CNY and Valentines!

However I'm not as hysterically excited about CNY or Valentines after celebrating it for the past 18 years. Is this a sign that I'm getting old?!

Its a CAMERA!;O Its so bloody cute and I'm a sucker for cute lil' stuff like that *screams* But the thing is,

1. The cam costs an estimate of $20++. In addition,the film itself cost around.. $9?(from what I saw in this particular shop) and for that $9, I can only take 24 shots.

2.To develop the pictures or to burn the pictures from the film into a disc,another amount need to be spent, which makes it even more costly.

3.Adding on to point number 2, its so inconvenient to actually develop the picture i a photo shop

4.I can just use my hp camera to take pictures and upload it to my comp, much more convenient in that sense, and saves moolahs

5. I dont think I can delete the pictures if ever I accidentally took some really stupid shots.

Should I get it? ;'(

White Christmas.

2 years had past. Yet it seems just like yesterday. Christmas reminded me of you. I suddenly realised that Christmas lights can be so tragically beautiful.

It makes me sick from nostalgia. Yet I can smell the sweetness of christmas, that I finally found someone to spent this cold season with me.Will it last?

Kaywee and I were talking on the phone at 11+pm and we suddenly have this exploding urge to go for a midnight movie lol! Like, it was SO last minute and rush and all,so anyway we decided on AVATAR. And the awesome part is that I got this 32oz free popcorn and soft drink apparently cause' I signd up for the gv movie club thingy. I heartzxz GV! woot woot.

Laysee says Imma mad woman to go for movie at such an unearthly hour (movie starts at 1.40am btw) manz.hahahhahaha

Needless to say,movie was pretty awesome ;B

AND I REACHED HOME AT 5 A.M. wtf ;O (we actually walked home from jurong point lol!)

and I slept at around 6am and got up some 3-4 hours later to meet laysee and we hit town. madness.

This is one of my favourite place in sentosa. I like the concept of colourful tiny tiles forming into this large water fountain structure

It reminds me when I was really young(like 6 i think?) and I came here with my parents. This colourful water structure thingy havent change much

kaywee acting like a kid and playing with the water lol!

and after that we went to the skyride and luge ride

I was shaking very hard towards the middle of the sky ride cause Im suffering from abit of Acrophobia(who doesnt!)

and kaywee was happily disturbing me cause he said it wasnt even scary, while I pray that the thing wouldnt drop down cause I would just die on the spot

oh and did I mention that his slippers dropped!! LOLOLOLOLOLLLLL

but luckily he dropped it at the very starting(at the time where we hop on to the skyride) so it is still possible to get it back. and this woman behind us was laughing at kaywee lolol!

and while I was taking picture of his slipper-less leg, I realise theres a camera in the middle of our skyride taking picture of us wtf!

next we proceed to the luge ride (kaywee with one barefoot still lol!)

the queue was superrr long until I feel like spreading out a picnic mat while waiting

I didnt take any pictures of us playing the luge ride apparently because I cannot hold on to the camera and riding at the same time.

oh and remember I mention about the woman who laughed at Kaywee's bare foot? She was screaming like mad( but in a very funny way)at her son for going too fast.

and right after she said that, her son lost control of the luge and went right into the grass patch at the side of the track and he got up and ran away. LOLOLOLOL to the max! Kaywee and I burst out laughing immediatly cause' the sight of it was super funneh!!!!!11

We actually wanted to go back to Vivo to have our dinner since the food at sentosa is pretty ex before going for the Songs of the Sea but we were told that we have to purchase other admission ticket to sentosa once we get out gua gua~

So we walked around hunting for cheap food and we suddenly remember theres Koufu(its something like Kopitiam) in Sentosa! so we went there to eat chicken rice and had ice blended ribena (shiok!)

and soon, its nightfall~

the people going for this show is over whelming really

I didnt take much pictures of the show cause' I wanna enjoy it and not spending half the time snapping pictures away lol!

the show is mainly brought about by the effect of the water sprays and lasers combined together. It was awesome but the show seems to be quite short

and most of the fireworks lookalike thingy are too fast and I couldnt take a good picture with my hp ;'(

Sembawang Beach.

We caught some pencil fish(it looks long and urm, pencil-like.so I just call it pencil fish lol!), this tiny crab which clings on to a floating leaf, and some baby squids which changes colour the last time I went there.

So the initial plan was to go there to hopefully catch something funny but in the end we reach there quite late and it was high tide ;'(

went to marina barrage with kaywee<3 &we bought this adorable water droplet keychain(!!!) from this sounveir shop, which we hang it on our handphones x)

and we decided on JustNoodles!;B so we get free flow of ice-cream,soft drinks and cappuccino with every set meal!*do the little indian dance* ;D

Friends.

I have never thought that it is necessary to write a blazing post about my personal feelings and thoughts. As a matter of fact, I seldom pour out my sorrows in a blog cause' I think by writing, it cannot fully express the extent to which how I am actually feeling. However for today, I shall make it an exception.

So today I was listlessly sitting on the mrt alone listening to ''angels brought me here'' over and over again, yet the music seemed very much like chantings to me. Even the warmth of the Christmas season was tragically reduced to nothingness.

For some reason, something has been weighing me down in my heart, really really hard.

It suddenly dawned upon me that as we grow up, life is much more complicated.Things changes, but people gradually learn to adapt to it. It is however blissful to keep a simple yet innocent friendship.

I have never thought that friendship could be so fragile, and it is not like you break it and you can use UHU glue to stick it back.(heck,I dont even know what I am typing right now)

Point is, things will never be the same again really.

Its funny how things work.People can be great friends and have fun and all one day,and the next moment, just because of ONE insignificant rumour that emerged outta nowhere, it crumbles the whole friendship up.

Like, I never got to share my side of the story and assumptions are immediately made.

It pains me that you trust the words(more than you trust me?), of whoever the person is? Who made me up to be that kind of person?

I gave our friendship the best that I could ever offer even though there might be friction, inevitably.

Today, it rained. The cold atmosphere was exceptionally cold. In fact, too cold. That it stung me hard. And bitter.

And then when I read your blog, my tears came flowing out fast and free,as much as I tried to swallow back my tears. I broke down. Again. And the most painful thing is crying for someone who doesnt cry for you.

So I looked out of the window at the naked trees of December, searching for some comfort at the very least.

In that very moment, the time we spent together was replayed in my mind like a film without sound. To you, we might not be the oh-i-could-die-for-you friends, yet the pain of not quite, but almost losing a friend hurts.

It fucking hurts.

I felt that I had lost myself. Lost you. Lost every single moment that we once shared. And sometimes in life, once you loses something, you can never get it back.

Even when I was struggling to type this out, my fingers was desperately trying not to press the 'delete' key(thankfully).

I felt very suffocated. Almost choking. Finally I scrolled down the phone book in my phone and finally decided upon a number. So I summoned every single fibre of my courage, and called S. And literally let out everything like I've never talk at all in my entire 17 years of life.

Holy smoke,at that point of time I could feel my veins throbbing wildly in my head wtf and really buaytahan until I was literally drowning in my own pool of tears.

She said that to talk to you face to face is the best solution. Yet the moment I picture me looking into your eyes, it pains me really.(I wish I could just hug my beanie and die. wtf.)

Maybe what she said is right: Yesterday is history,Tomorrow is mystery, and Today is a gift.

Perhaps I should just let go and move on.

(Sorry you-know-who-you-are, for which ever way that I might have hurt you, really. Let everything be yesterdays, let everything be history, ok?)

went to watch 2012 with Kaywee and I can't believe I actually sat there all curled all like a tiny shrimp for the entire 3 hours! ;B The movie was pretty good I guess.

It has been long ever since I last watched a movie with proper movie food i.e.popcorn manz. cause' normally I'll sneak in *ahem outside food/rather starve inside the theatre

We actually had KFC's cheesy meltz, followed by raspberry-favoured YAMI yoghurt, and then the popcorn and large drinks, which made me felt like a balloon, literally.

Kaywee will be in camp for the next 3 days ughhhh. On the bright side, cousin will be over for a sleepover! ;B

so we actually shifted our initial pinic location to a more shady one under the tree

needless to say, ITS MAKAN TIME!

I have never tried this apple-favoured yoghurt but it actually tasted yummy!
